The bright blue circles in this white Sandstone are spheres of Azurite, a copper mineral, and the brown is native Copper.  This is unique to Colorado.  Robert mined this material at a private copper mine south of Grand Junction.  He cut one into this 19x15mm oval cabochon and set it in a Sterling Silver Pendant.
