Robert Michael collects Black Tourmaline from many locations throughout the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The black color is caused by the presence of titanium atoms embedded in the crystals molecular structure.
Most of the Colorado black tourmaline is porous and includes other tiny particles, which is not suitable for faceting. However, in one location near Evergreen Station, Colorado Robert found well over 100 quality crystals, and we’ve been faceting them of them over time. This one is a gorgeous 4.5 carat, 12x7mm rectangular-shaped gemstone. Robert set it in a Sterling Silver Pendant..
For this Pendant, we recommend an 18” Medium Venitian Box Sterling Silver Chain, #1104.
We'll be shipping this item along with an attractive Gift Box, matching tote bag, and crinkled paper. You'll be ready to present this gift in only a few minutes. All buttoned up, pretty, and sophisticated.
